Richcroft is proud to announce that we have received a $150,000 grant from The Kahlert Foundation for our Farm to Able Enterprise!
The Kahlert Café – a Farm to Able Richcroft Enterprise is a flagship initiative that will change lives across Central Maryland. This inclusive, community-centered café will provide meaningful employment and hands-on training in food service, customer engagement, and financial management for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
The Kahlert Café – a Farm to Able Richcroft Enterprise – which will be located in 53 Loveton Circle, Sparks, MD 21152, will be more than just a café; it will be a place of purpose a vibrant, integrated workspace where individuals can gain real-world experience, build confidence, and develop the skills they need to pursue greater independence and long-term career success!
We are so grateful to President Greg Kahlert; Executive Vice President Heather Kahlert; Executive Director Ellen Myers; Grants Administrator Wally Hernandez; and The Kahlert Foundation Board for this generous grant—an incredible investment in our Farm to Able Enterprise—and for their commitment to creating opportunities for people with disabilities!
Planning and development on the cafe is beginning right now!
Looking ahead, we also envision expanding the program with a
